Above are some of the fine young musicians who
have had the honour of playing at the Fleadh in Letterkenny on the gig-rig
on Saturday night. More recently they gave a great open air concert in Aughnacloy,
were highly praised by the Mayor of Monaghan town after they played for a
group of Canadian visitors. Their next big venue was in Aughnacloy , Monday
26th. when they played for the victorious home-coming of the Tyrone Footballers!
(from 5.00pm) - On the 5th. October, Wednesday, they performed a concert in
Quinn's Corner, (9.30pm) followed by an open seisiun. The group is made up
of young musicians from Coalisland/Clonoe, Galbally and Clogher Valley CCE's.
and with Mirina Mohan keeping them right, they can't go wrong! Not in the
picture are a couple of brilliant young dancers and very fine young singers!
Most of the group have carried on to 2006, performing for Ceili House Radio
programme which was aired on June 10th. and at the Tyrone Fleadh in Ballygawley.
They are also taking part in the multicultural concert during the Ulster Fleadh
and again at the opening concert. They will also be performing on the Gig-Rig
during the
All Ireland Fleadh in Letterkenny.
